A player-run Pokémon League created by NadiHokage & OWtlaw3d. In this league, trainers can prove their strength by challenging one another to establish the Shadow Champion.

1. General League Rules

Code of Conduct

All trainers must show respect and sportsmanship. Harassment or toxic behavior will not be tolerated.

Communication

All scheduling, rulings, and battle results must be handled in designated Discord channels. If a trainer needs to postpone it is up to that trainer to communicate with the league and opponent to schedule a make up match . (each trainer is only allowed 4 postponements for the season unless an emergency occurs) Exceeding this number results in automatic forfeit.

Spirit of the League

This league follows Pokémon Scarlet & Violet mechanics, including Terastallization and Paldea-native Pokémon.

2. Battle Rules & Format

Battle Format

6v6 Single Battles
In-game battles only in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Matches are best of 3

Winning 2–0 = +2
Winning 2–1 = +1
Losing 1–2 = -1
Losing 0–2 = -2

Standard Clauses

Sleep Clause – Only one opposing Pokémon may be asleep at a time.
OHKO Clause – Fissure, Horn Drill, Sheer Cold banned.
Evasion Clause – Double Team and Minimize banned.
Species Clause – No duplicate Pokédex numbers.
Item Clause – No duplicate held items.

Tera Rule

Each trainer may Terastallize once per battle.

Apex Slot Rule

Each battle party may include only ONE of the following:

One Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon OR One Paradox Pokémon.

You may not use both.

4. Team Registration

Trainers must submit their full 9-Pokémon team(s) and held items before each battle.

Teams may change between matches but must be registered prior to battle start.

5. Path to the Shadow Champion

Seasons are played in single-season playoff formats.

6. AMENDMENTS

Team Registration Default

If a trainer fails to register a new team before their scheduled match, their most recently registered team will automatically be used by default.
Failure to submit a team will not result in an automatic forfeit.

Graphics

League-approved graphics or posts made on match day are allowed, but full team breakdowns, past team lists, or move/item details may not be shared.

Battle Results

Make Up Matches - Only held by a Commissioner on Sunday.

Disputes

Contact a league organizer. All rulings are final.
