📜 Blerdz Unite Universe: Community Code of Conduct

Welcome to the Blerdz Unite Universe! We're thrilled to have you here. Our goal is to be a premier community space for Blerds to connect, share passions, and grow together. To ensure this remains a safe, welcoming, and vibrant home for everyone, we ask all members to read and uphold the following Code of Conduct.

🛡️ Section 1: Our Core Principles

These are the foundational beliefs of our community. Every rule below is built upon these principles.

  • Respect is Paramount: Treat all members, including the Mod & Admin team, with courtesy at all times. Healthy debates are welcome; personal attacks, insults, bigotry, and harassment are not.

  • Embrace Inclusivity: We are a diverse community. There is a zero-tolerance policy for any form of hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, religion, age, or personal background.

  • Engage Constructively: Be the member you want to see in the community. Participate, share your passions, and help create a positive atmosphere. Lift each other up!

✅ Section 2: Server Rules

These are the hard and fast rules for navigating the server.

  1. No Harmful or Explicit Content: Do not share links or files containing malware, viruses, IP grabbers, or any other malicious material. NSFW, graphic, or sexually explicit content is strictly prohibited.

  2. Protect Privacy (No Doxxing): Do not share anyone's personal information (real name, address, phone number, photos, etc.) without their explicit, enthusiastic consent.

  3. No Spam or Unwanted Pinging:

    • Avoid spamming messages, emojis, images, or stickers.

    • Do not mention @everyone, @here, or large community roles without a valid, important reason.

    • "Ghost-pinging" (pinging and deleting the message) is not permitted.

  4. Keep Language Civil: Cursing is generally allowed, but avoid using it in a hostile, aggressive, or excessive manner. Always refer back to our core principle of Respect.

  5. Follow Mod & Admin Direction: Please listen to the instructions of the Mod and Admin team. They are here to keep the community safe and running smoothly. If you disagree with a moderation action, please open a ticket in server-help to discuss it privately.

🚀 Section 3: Channel & Voice Etiquette

  1. Use Channels for Their Purpose: Please post content in the appropriate channels. Read the channel topic/description before posting. This helps keep our conversations organized and easy to find.

  2. Spoiler Policy: Be mindful of spoilers for movies, TV shows, games, and books. Use spoiler tags ||like this||in all non-spoiler-specific channels.

  3. Voice Chat (VC) Etiquette:

    • When in a Voice Channel, please use the corresponding text-chat (💬|vc-chat, etc.) for links, memes, and conversation that doesn't require voice.

    • Refrain from pinging large groups or @everyone to join a casual VC session. Let conversations happen organically.

⚖️ Section 4: Enforcement & Reporting

  • Consequences: Violations of this Code of Conduct will result in disciplinary action. Depending on the severity of the offense, actions may include a verbal/written warning, a temporary mute, a kick from the server, or a permanent ban.

  • How to Get Help: If you witness a rule violation, are being harassed, or feel unsafe for any reason, please report it immediately. You can do so by:

    • Opening a ticket in |server-help.

    • Sending a Direct Message (DM) to anyone with an @Admin or @Mod role.

    • All reports are treated with confidentiality.
