Blerdz Unite Opportunity Grant Application
The Blerdz Unite Opportunity Grant was created to help fellow Blerd content creators access career-boosting opportunities at conventions, covering travel costs to local and national events. Inspired by the benefits conventions bring to those who can attend, two founding Blerdz Unite Stream Team members IdiosynAnca and Bnice0rElse champion this grant to support fellow creators in expanding their reach and impact within the creator space.

Eligibility:
Must be a Black nerd (Blerd) — this grant is exclusively for Blerdz.
Must be an active member of the Blerdz Unite community.
Must be actively creating content within nerd/geek fandoms (e.g., comics, anime, gaming, cosplay, etc.).
Must be 18 years or older (valid government-issued ID required).
Must be able to provide proof of both Blerd identity and consistent content creation within the community.
Required Application Materials:
Completed application form with personal and contact information.
Statement of Purpose (maximum 500 words) that explains:
How attending the convention will support your personal and creative growth.
How your participation will benefit and contribute to the Blerdz community.
Links to current and past content demonstrating your active involvement in the nerd/geek space.
