B.U Discord Committee
Rules & Expectations
Ready to lead a squad on the Blerdz Unite Discord? Awesome! To keep our server organized and active, here are the ground rules for running an official committee. Please read these before applying.
1. Leadership & Membership:
All committees must have one designated Committee Lead and at least three (3) additional Founding Members to be officially recognized.
The Committee Lead is the main point of contact for server Admins and is responsible for managing the group.
2. The 30-Day Activity Rule:
To keep the server clutter-free, committee channels (both text and voice) that show no activity for more than 30 consecutive days will be subject to archival.
"Activity" is defined as: Meaningful conversation, event announcements, or scheduled Voice Chat sessions. Pinging roles or simple bot commands do not count as activity.
"Archival" means: Your channels will be moved to a read-only archive category and the committee role will be removed. Your group isn't deleted, just put into hibernation. The Lead can contact an Admin to restore it if the group becomes active again.
3. Code of Conduct:
All committees are extensions of Blerdz Unite. The server-wide Code of Conduct applies to all committee channels and activities.
Committee Leads are responsible for moderating their channels and ensuring conversations remain respectful, inclusive, and safe for all members.
4. Committee Resources:
Approved committees will receive:
A unique
@Role
for your members.A dedicated channel and/or category with at least one text channel (
#committee-name
) and one voice channel (VC - Committee Name
).
Graphics and Marketing support provided on an as needed basis (approved events can be scheduled on B.U socials if submitted before the beginning of each month.)
